New sound piece in Berlin Group show

Back in May I participated in an event called Mill 24, a twenty four hour exhibition in Salford. The curators of the show have a new exhibition in Berlin, and have invited me to contribute some of my work.

The Berlin exhibition is part of a week long ping-pong conference, Pongress 2010:

“Pongress Berlin 2010 brings groups from Manchester, Paris, Newcastle, Washington DC, London, and (hopefully) Stockholm to Berlin, where a local contingency will host the event. Their mission is to celebrate the art of music, drinking and table tennis.”

“An exhibition of installation, video and interactive art by Pongress participants, plus documentary material describing the wild trajectory of ping pong partying since the mid ’90s. 3-D table tennis tunnel: check.”

More info from http://pongressberlin.org.

My work in the show, called The Arrow of Time, is a collection of recordings made during the Mill 24 exhibition, to be listened to on headphones. A limited run of CDRs will be made available after the show, which runs from 27th to 31st October 2010.
