Installation for Time Pieces exhibition, Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts

My installation, Untitled (2010) is being shown again, this time at the Peter Scott Gallery at the Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts: Time Pieces is an interdisciplinary art exhibition exploring time, duration, history and memory.”

The exhibition also features work from Kit Abramson, Jon Aveyard, Steven Heaton, Annie Lydiat, Anna Macdonald, Angelo Picozzi and Kacper Ziemianin, and runs from 3rd March to 2nd April 2011. See the image below or visit the Peter Scott Gallery site for more information.

The installation uses recordings from discarded reels of tape, some of which are over fifty years old, alongside the original machines on which they might have been played.

  1. Excellent Graham. I’ll stick up a mention on my blog over the weekend. Hope everything’s fine down in London, far away from civilization.
