Supernormal Festival: performances with AAS and DunningWebsterUnderwood
Supernormal Festival runs from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th August.
On Friday evening in the barn I’ll play turntable and objects with DunningWebsterUnderwood, alongside Colin Webster on baritone saxophone and Sam Underwood on Tuba.
On Sunday evening AAS will perform The Cult of Sonic Affect on the Red Kite stage: a ceremony to welcome the close of the festival based on recent developments in Holectic theory.
We’ll also have some merch avaiable for both groups: the début DunningWesberUnderwood album, BLEED, plus a new AAS cassette – exclusive to patrons of the festival.
“SUPERNORMAL is a three-day, experimental arts and music festival taking place at Braziers Park in Oxfordshire. It offers a platform for artists, performers and musicians to work collaboratively and creatively for a new kind of audience seeking experiences out of the mainstream. It is determinedly small and intimate with an audience of 1,500 and has been born from a place that values the currency of ideas and imagination rather than commercialism and profit.”
It’s absolutely my favourite festival and I’m really glad to be returning this year!
