Video exhibited at the Usurp Zone5 Film Festival

My videodrone film Untitled (Translation 1) is being shown in a multi-screen installation as part of the Usurp Zone5 Film Festival, starting this Friday 14th August.

In darkness, the aura flickers and an immersive sonic environment is created for a visual and aural extra sensory experience. Exploring avant-garde filmmaking, hand crafted cinema techniques and a cacophonous post-internet art style, this ambitious exhibition presents some of the best of international current image making.

Usurp Art Gallery proudly presents the Usurp Zone5 Film Festival 14 – 17 August with extraordinary screenings, exhibitions and a film soundtrack turntable night. Usurp Zone5 features more than 80 experimental, short films by filmmakers and artists from over 15 countries, including Argentina, India, Jordan, Peru, Spain and South Africa.

14, 15, 16 August: 7.30 – 9pm – Screenings.
Tickets only £5 inc. a drink and popcorn. Booking is essential as tickets are limited. Doors open 7pm

17 August: 7.30pm to 11pm – FREE! Film soundtrack records and projection night.

Exhibition films – FREE from 3pm to 6pm every day.
