Fractions series

Some of the first modified records I made had sections blanked out using acetate or masking tape, creating rhythms from the textures of the attached materials as well as snippets of samples from the audio beneath. Generally I used quarters, eighths or multiples thereof, to keep a regular rhythm, but also experimented with different fractional divisions.

Below is a demonstration of some of these, recorded in June 2009.
