Twenty Nine Of The Best Recordings I Never Got Round To Making

Twenty Nine Of The Best Recordings I Never Got Round To Making

Twenty nine cassette boxes each with a typewritten label on the spine. The labels come from a book of potential titles I’ve been collecting  since May 2007, the majority of which have never been used.

First shown at On The Ledge gallery, London, July 2012 (image above).
Shown at Collecting/Objects/Sounding, Goldsmiths University, London, July 2015.
Exhibited at Closet Music, The Proud Archivist, London, September 2015 (image below).

A visual representation was included in the publication Closet Music in 2013, which featured imaginary scores made by diverse composers. The tapes were also shown in a different configuration at the event launch.
